This BBQ chicken flatbread is loaded with bold flavors and is a real crowd pleaser! It’s also a great way to use up leftover chicken.
Makes 1 flatbread
1 pre-baked pizza or flatbread crust
2 tbsp BBQ sauce, we like Napa Jack’s Merlot BBQ Sauce
1/4 cup shredded cooked chicken breast
1/4 cup mozzarella, shredded
1 1/2 tbsp Peach Pickled Onions*
1 tsp chopped cilantro
1 1/2 teaspoons We Olive Jalapeno Olive Oil
Preheat oven according to pre-baked pizza crust manufacturer’s directions.
Spread the BBQ sauce evenly over the surface of the pre-baked crust, covering the entire surface. Distribute the chicken and cheese evenly over the flatbread. Bake according to pre-baked crust manufacturer’s directions, until edges of crust are golden brown.
Remove the flatbread from the oven and cut into equal servings. Top with pickled onions and cilantro and drizzle with Jalapeno Olive Oil. Enjoy!
*Peach-Pickled Onions – thinly slice a red onion and place in a bowl. Add We Olive Peach White Balsamic Vinegar to cover. Eat right away or store covered in the fridge for up to a month!
