Mulled Spice Balsamic Vinegar is back!

Mulled Spice is the Pumpkin Spice Latte of We Olive. While it may not be a trending hashtag on Twitter, it signals the arrival of fall and has a devoted following awaiting its release. If you’ve yet to experience Mulled Spice, it’s sweet and tangy with flavors of nutmeg, cinnamon, clove and allspice. It’s like our bestselling Aged Balsamic injected with holiday spirit. We can’t get enough of it and we’ve cooked up some delicious new ways to put it on EVERYTHING.

  • Use it as a glaze. Brush it on chicken or salmon as it grills, add a splash to your saute pan to give your veggies a sweet and spiced glaze, or give a whole roasted pork loin a deep rich finish, it will make everything delicious.
  • Candy coat with it. We thought the flavors of this vinegar would be tasty on a candied nut and, well, we were right. This recipe for Spiced Balsamic Candied Nuts makes a quick party snack and an even better DIY hostess gift.
  • Make dessert. We’ve created some lovely desserts in past seasons with this vinegar, but this one takes the cake, er…bread pudding. We created this decadent Apple Bread Pudding with Spiced Balsamic Caramel. We strongly advise making extra caramel. It. Is. Addicting.
  • Drink it. We know. We make a lot of cocktails with balsamic, but we can’t help it, they just work! We came up with this Mulled Spice Cocktail, that has all the things we love about mulled wine, but it’s served chilled and will feed (or water) a crowd.
