Come join us on Thursday, October 27th from 5:30 – 7:30 and taste alongside Bryan Harrington. As the winemaker for one of our favorite wineries, we are excited to host him on our patio and have him share some of his wonderful creations with us!
Harrington Wines is a small producer that originally started in 2002 with a focus on old-vine, organic and sustainably-grown Pinot Noir. Over the years, Bryan’s quest to produce the finest Pinots lead him to some hidden vineyard sites and little-know grape varietals. Now his focus has changed to producing and sharing some of the obscure, forgotten grapes of California as well as producing clean, stable wines made without sulfites. While the winery itself is located up in a warehouse district in San Francisco, Bryan sources the best fruit from growing sites all over from Mendocino to Paso Robles.
“Since 2008, we have been digging around California’s back-country for forgotten viticultural gems with good bones and prudent, mindful growers. Recent wines include Corvina, Trousseau, Fiano, Charbono, Teroldego, Marzemino, Aglianico and Vermentino. In the winery, we steer clear of all the techno hocus-pocus and stick hard by the basics.” – Bryan Harrington
