Join us on our patio Thursday, June 30th and meet the folks from Seven Oxen Wines! We are thrilled to host such an exclusive winery for our monthly Meet the Winemaker event. This estate grown and sustainably farmed winery based in Paso Robles focuses on small production wines from their own vineyard growing classic French varietals such as Mourvèdre, Grenache, Petite Sirah and Tannat as well as 10 acres of Zinfandel.
“We keep yields low to guarantee the highest quality fruit possible and to ensure the health and longevity of our vines. We don’t use pesticides, herbicides or chemical fertilizers, and take a minimalist approach at the winery to ensure Seven Oxen wines remain as complex as the natural environment from which they come.”
Winemaker Bastien Leduc grew up helping his father on the family’s organic vineyard in the south of France, which created a lifelong passion for the wine culture. He has worked in many of the great wine regions around the world from France to Australia and, most recently, right here in California, down among the rolling hills of Paso Robles.
