The Bufala Negra is a bourbon-based cocktail created by master mixologist Jerry Slater. Our slightly adapted version features ginger ale, fresh basil, and Sweet Sangria Balsamic Vinegar, which is available for a limited time. If you can’t get your hands on Sangria Balsamic, our Traditional Aged Balsamic also works well here.

1 1/2 oz. bourbon
4 fresh basil leaves (see note)
1/2 teaspoon turbinado surgar
1 teaspoon We Olive Sweet Sangria Balsamic Vinegar
2 oz. ginger ale

Muddle the balsamic, 3 basil leaves and sugar in a cocktail shaker. Add bourbon and ice and shake well. Strain over fresh ice cubes into a glass. Top with ginger ale and garnish with basil leaf. Cheers!

Note: For an extra blast of basil, add a 1/2 teaspoon of We Olive Fresh Basil Olive Oil to the shaker!
