How to Enter

Each year we get hundreds of entries for our Discover Cooking with California Olive Oil Recipe Contest. We love poring over your creations and find ourselves inspired by the creativity and innovation of our customers. We also find that some entries look delicious, but have to be disqualified for not adhering to contest rules. You can read the full contest rules here, but following are some important items to consider when creating your masterpiece!

1. Your recipe must feature at least one We Olive brand Extra Virgin or Flavored Olive Oil. All of those olive oils you love to taste from our fustinos…those are the ones! Feel free to include any other We Olive products or artisan extra virgin olive oils that you can find in our stores or at www.weolive.com, but make sure include one We Olive brand olive oil. 2. Your submission must include a photo of your dish. We need to see the finished product! While our judging panel will be testing your recipes and likely taking our own photographs, it’s important for us to see how you intended for your creation to look. We will also be using the photo on our website to encourage your peers to vote for your dish for the People’s Choice prize, so get that dish camera ready!

3. Your recipe must be original. By submitting a recipe to our contest, you are agreeing that the recipe you’ve created is an original and has not been copied or adapted from another published recipe.
