Our Blackberry Balsamic Vinegar is tart and sweet with beautiful depth of flavor. This vinaigrette pairs the tangy vinegar with our Blood Orange Olive Oil* which has a subtle sweetness to it. It’s delicious on salads with grilled pork or chicken as well as roasted butternut squash or pumpkin.
Makes 1/2 cup
1 tablespoon minced shallot
2 tablespoons Blackberry Balsamic Vinegar
1 teaspoon fresh thyme, finely chopped
2 teaspoons honey
1/4 cup Blood Orange Olive Oil
kosher salt & freshly ground pepper
Mix the shallot, vinegar, thyme and honey in a small bowl. Slowly add the olive oil in a thin stream, whisking well to incorporate. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
*This vinaigrette also works nicely with Meyer Lemon Olive Oil!
