Our 11th store is officially open and we are ready to celebrate! We Olive Thousand Oaks will be hosting a Grand Opening party this weekend, April 20th and 21st. Chef Tim Kilcoyne, Executive Chef of Sidecar, Ventura, California. Chef Kilcoyne, who grew up on a farm in the Antelope Valley, showcases the simplicity that drives his cuisine at Sidecar, a 1910 pullman dining car featuring locally grown ingredients.
Special Appearances by:
- Art Kishiyama, owner Olio Nuevo, will offer sampling and information about his award-winning extra virgin olive oils produced on his Central Coast Ranch.
- Chef Steven Stroh, Chef/Owner of Chef Stroh’s Pestos, will offer tastes and information about his artisan pestos created with locally sourced ingredients.

Chef Christopher Kufek, Executive Chef of Saddle Peak Lodge, Malibu, California. L.A. native Kufek is the executive chef at Saddle Peak Lodge in Malibu Canyon, a landmark dining destination specializing in game meat and fresh seafood.
Special Appearances by:
- Carolyn Shaffer, owner of Fandango Olive Oil, will offer tastings and information about the award-winning extra virgin olive oils produced on their Paso Robles ranch. Carolyn will also be autographing bottles for collectors.
- Chef Steven Stroh, Chef/Owner of Chef Stroh’s Pestos will offer tastes and information about his artisan pestos created with locally sourced ingredients.
